Top 5 Sundays #50 – Favorite Urban Fantasy Covers!

Hello everyone! =) It’s Top 5 Sundays time once more! Awesome!

This week’s list is all about the Urban Fantasy covers =)

I followed a few personal criteria for this theme. I like continuity and quality on my UF covers and I’m addicted to series. So, I listed them by series =)

These are one of the UF covers that best match a series I have ever seen! Awesome!

 

Elemental Assassin Series

These covers are awesome and totally make you wanna read the books!

 

Mercy Thompson Series

by Patricia Briggs 

Daniel Dos Santos is my FAVORITE cover artist, these are incredibly gorgeous!

 

Shifters {Werecats} Series

by Rachel Vincent

I find these clichéd and unique at the same time.

Love them and miss this series.

 

Allie Beckstrom Series

by Devon Monk 

 

I love how these complement each other and the continuity rocks. Besides the artist did a great job in matching the model with the heroine =)

Top 5 Sundays #43 – Books for an UF 1st Timer!

Hey there everyone! =) Top 5 Sundays time! YAY!

Let’s get right to it, shall we?

Favorite 3rd Book in a Series! = 15 (31%)

This week’s theme is Books for an UF 1st Timer!

I love Urban Fantasy so this was actually a pretty fun list to think about! I decided to classify them by the type of heroine in the series =D

*in no particular order

 

The Outsider! – The human heroine in the paranormal world.

This series has it all, but it’s more about Shifters and I love it!

 

The Insider! – The Vampire almost anti-heroine.

 

The Original! – No vamps or shifters, it’s all about Djinns and Wardens.

One of the most original Urban Fantasy series I have ever read!

 

The Insider/Outsider! – Heroine is paranormal but doesn’t really fit in.

 

On the fence! – Heroine is half human-half fey and doesn’t really belong to either.

The Good: Another great installment in this awesome series. October finds more about her heritage, a lot of action and more Tybalt! YAY! 

The Bad: Hmmm I think the only think that bothered me was how towards the end Tybalt totally disappears… I wanted more! 

The Romance: Team Tybalt all the way! Though I have to say that both Team Tybalt and Team Connor will be happy with this book.

The Good: Finally the Adam & Mercy book we have all been waiting for! It was awesome to find out so much more about Mercy’s heritage and we finally get to see more walkers.

The Bad: The whole book takes place away from the Tri-Cities area, so i totally missed Warren, Kyle, Jess, Stefan and all the gang. 

The Romance: AMAZING! So much Adam & Mercy goodness!
