“Did you know that a female vampire is actually called a Lamia?” by Riv Re

Dear Riv,

Lamia is the official name, but the Portuguese name for Vampire is Vampira and since that is my native language, that’s what I prefer to be called. =)

TALK TO THE VAMP {#1} - About Image Designs!

Hello Mortals! Lady L here and it’s time for the first installment in my week Q/A feature on the blog.

Today’s post will be a quick one, I only had one question asked…

“How do you make those wonderful buttons and artwork on your blog? Is there a special program you use?” by Midnyte Reader

Dear Midnyte Reader,

My minion Larissa makes the images for the blog. The over all design was made by Parajunkee, but all the other images that compose the features, Larissa made.

She told me to say that she uses a variety of different image editors and unusual tools like Wix.com and PowerPoint. She also uses Photofiltre and Logomaker.

TALK TO THE VAMP – New Feature Announcement!

“Hey Everyone! I don’t know if any of remember that last Halloween I introduced you all to the real owner of this blog, my master… If not, you check her post HERE! Well, she actually introduced herself and because she needed to be anonymous, she called herself Larissa, which is my name.

Well, now my master feels like she needs a bit of the spotlight for herself and doesn’t want to be called the same name as her minion, so I am happy to introduce to you: Lady L!

I’ll let her explain what “Talk To The Vamp” is all about.”

 

Hello Mortals! Ever since I told you all My History last Halloween, I have been wanting to be active in the blog. I know my minion, Larissa, does a great job, but I need a bit of the spotlight too.

That’s why, me and my minion came up with this new feature. I have noticed and Larissa confirmed to me, that some other book blogs where the bloggers answer blogging or publishing questions, so i decided to start my own advice column here at the blog.

I will answer questions about Book, Book Blogging as well as questions about my Personal Life as a Vampira.
