It Might Be An Honor Just To Be Nominated, But...

Winning is a hell lot better hehe =) Thanks to my sweet friend Brooke from "That's QUEEN Bitch To You!" I have now received The Honest Scrap Award!

To be honest (already? hehe!) I have been seeing this award around for a while and I thought it was pretty cool. However, nobody ever tagged me for it, so I never got to share some of my secrets. Now, I advise you all to be afraid, very afraid Mwahahaha! (That was my evil laugh. No good? Damn! =/)

Well, the Honest Scrap works like this. I will list 10 true things about myself and then tag 10 more blogs to go through the process. So, let's get started.

1 - I started college back in Brazil when I was 17 years old. Studied English Language for 4 years, never graduated though, because of one class. Started teaching at 17 and taught English as a Second Language for 7 years.

2 - I drank my first beer at 14 and got really drunk and sick for the first time at 17. Worse scenario with alcohol was with Tequila. Drank 21 shots in 40min (lost count after that) and ended up at the hospital taking glucose. I can only remember the next morning, waking up with my mom saying: "Do you have a hangover?" me: "No" mom: "That's a shame" LOL

3 - I am the queen of falling down. I have fallen in a movie theater, at school, at the school I taught 7 times, at least 11 times on nights out, 3 at restaurants (including last week), at a supermarket, on the street a few times and probably more that I can't recall hehe.

4 - I love drawing. I draw women's clothes and some abstract. I have been drawing for a long time, thought I haven't drawn in a while.

5 - I had my biggest Smex Fantasy realized on my second time. Being tied up and blindfolded. There were clothespins, whipped cream, ice and candle wax involved as well. Best night EVER!

6 - I lost the big V at 23. No regrets. Perfect timing and it was with the right person. I was not in love and it didn't last. However, it was absolutely worth it. Refer to "truth" #5 =)))

7 - My first Paranormal Book was "Narcisisus in Chains" by Laurel K. Hamilton. I got it as a gift. I bought 2 more after thatm but then couldn't find anymore back in Brazil. Years later (around Oct. last year) I heard of the Vampire Diaries series. I read them all, then all the other LJ Smith books. Followed that with The Twilight Series (read it 5 times) and the rest is history. 335 Books Later you can find me Reviewing Books here =)

8 - I Have Poli-Arthritis Rheumatoid Juvenile since I was 11. It is an inflammation of the articulations. In my case in all of them. I am in constant pain because of it, but I have been through a lot of treatments and it has been stationary for a while now. I am thankful for this disease though. It has made me grow is way I never thought I would. I was supposed to be in a wheel chair by now. I was supposed to not be able to work or drive. I have never let this disease take the best of me and I have always tried to keep a positive attitude about it.

9 - I love playing pool and Drinking beer. I am pretty good at both. I've been better in beer drinking, but I haven't drank much lately =)

10 - I love to dance. Never did it seriously, but love it. I can samba pretty well, since I have been doing it since I was 6 years - old. Oh and I learned how to read at 5 years old, mostly by myself. Always reading Billboards and everything around. It was a pain for my school to place me. Too young for 1st grade and I knew too much for needing to be alphabetized.

Oh well, that's it. I think I might have been too honest. Though there is nothing there I am ashamed of. I live with no regrets. Every experience I have been through has its own value and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Time to tag some bloggers... Hmmmmm lets see:

Tigris @ Blood Moon

I seriously can't think of anyone else right now. I think most that I can think, have already done it... so... I am sorry if I forgot anyone, it's almost 11am here and I have not slept yet, since yesterday...

Thanks for tuning in to this extraordinary showing of Larissa's Life.

Now back to our Regular Programming!

I'll see you soon!

xoxo

One book to go and my next review is coming up :) In the mean time I wanted to share with you a personal story and my thoughts on threesomes... Talk about a random topic, right? Well, something happened recently that makes this topic, nothing but random to me...

I used to have a relationship with this Mexican guy (let's call him "The Mexican") about 2 years ago. It lasted 7 months and then we stopped seeing each other. It wasn't a serious relationship and he actually wanted to end it because he was starting a serious one with some one else. No, I wasn't really upset. We don't live in the same city and we didn't see each other regularly and I was actually happy for him. However, we never spoke after that...

The beginning of this year I "ran into" him on my MSN and for no reason I decided to say hi. I had a BF at the time (we all know how THAT ended! If not, see it here) and was actually curious to know what had been going on with him. We talked and right away he was hitting on me lol. I told him I had a BF, but we actually kept in contact after that...

Since then we have talking on and off, and he has been inviting me to come over and visit him. I don't know if I'm still interested in him like that anymore, though we had great chemistry together. Well, a recent talk with him just put the nail on that coffin...

Apparently he has a GF now and says they have an "open relationship" lol. Ok, I am going to refrain from expressing my thoughts on THAT, for now. In a recent call HE made, he actually invited me for a THREESOME with her and him, and actually said he thought me and her would "get along" LOL! My response was to start laughing and immediately utter the words: "Not gonna happen" hehe. He laughed and said he didn't think I'd say yes, but that he had to try... LOL!

That reminded me that, that was not the first time I have had that sort of invitation... once in a club a couple guys invited me for a threesome as well... Though that invitation I didn't dignify with a response =/

All that, got me to thinking on what was my opinion on threesomes. I got to the conclusion that I don't think I would be totally against it if I was a part of the couple. NOT the third party invited, that would make me feel used and not be much fun at all...

I guess this post might have been a bit TMI... Though I have always said this blog is up for anything :P

What about you? Is Three a crowd in the bedroom or NOT?

Let me know what you think :)

Next post I'll review the Dante Valentine Series by Lilith Saintcrow - STAY TUNED!

I have many things I want to talk to you guys about that I cannot divide them in different posts :P

First and foremost, I am so happy for being here in this amazing country these past 2 years. They were a couple of the best years of my life. I met so many great people, I have been through so much here; good time, bad times, incredible times, nightmares and everything in between. I do not regrets and I feel I have learned so much from everything.

Thank you all you people that have been part of my life, people that were just passing through and people that showed up to stay... You have made my life better, you have made me a better person, and for that I will always be grateful :)

Thank you for you that always shows up here and allow yourself a few minutes to read my rants, please know that everything that I put up in this blog means the world to me :)

*Wipes away a couple stray tears...

Now, moving on to some laughter (hopefully)

Thursday night I went out with my girl Melina and a friend of hers from Costa Rica... A few beers and some vodka later we decide we should make a telenovela (soap opera)... well, at least the opening for it anyways... hehe!

So, we get to it and after my master editing and directing (ham ham! :P) this is the result:

Thanks to Melina and Maurice for playing along and for providing so much fun :)

I stole this meme one from a the blog of an author I really enjoy (Carrie Vaughn): Don’t take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you’ve read that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than 15 minutes.

In no specific order:

- He is just not that into you (Greg Behrendt & Liz Tuccillo)
- The Killing Dance (Laurell K. Hamilton)
- Why didn't they ask Evans (Agatha Christie)
- Curtain (Agatha Christie)
- Twilight (Stephanie Meyer)
- Eclipse ((Stephanie Meyer)
- New Moon (Stephanie Meyer)
- Breaking Dawn (Stephanie Meyer)
- Shadow Kissed (Richelle Mead)

There is nothing to fear...?!?!

I remember the last time I walked around the streets of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro... It was my last visit to the Sochnut (Jewish Agency) before my alyiah... I was born in Rio and I was supposed to be used to it... but I wasn't... I felt so self conscious walking around there, so scared... it was such an awful feeling...

A little while later I realized it wasn't just there... even in the small city I had been living, I felt too uncomfortable walking around the streets on my own... granted that it was not as bad as in Copacabana, but even so...

Now, I am here... I'm in Tel Aviv, such an European city... but still here, in the middle east... I am not scared... I can walk alone at 4am and I am not scared... I feel safe here and I appreciate that feeling... That is one of the many reasons I love living in Israel...

Don't get me wrong, I have had a couple creepy situations involving cab drivers that could have scared me a lot... once a driver simply asked for a kiss when we got to my house, another kept asking me out during the whole ride... during the most recent experience, the driver kept asking me to come over to his house to cook for him... lol... I laugh at those stories now... but while they were happening, they were quite scary...

Fear is an amazing thing; it can keep us from living... I could say I’m traumatized and never get into a cab alone again... but, so what??? Life is supposed to be scary... I can get out of my house tomorrow and get hit by a car, can't I??? What's the point of living if you don't take chances???

Of course, getting back on a horse after a fall is terrifying... but being on that horse once more, and succeeding at it... Is amazing... you can never know that feeling if you don't try...

Blah blah blah...

Yep... I am keeping my promise hehe

Sometimes it amazes me how much we can change with time... I think about myself a few years ago and even though I am the same person deep down... I know I have changed a lot, grown and learned soooo much...

something girls in general have trouble with sometimes, is noticing if a guy is interested or not... of course, there are situations that it is very obvious, but there are the not so obvious ones... a few years ago I was so awful in noticing thats sort of thing, even the obvious ones... however, nowadays I have found myself to be more observant and that can be extremely fun...

Let me share a quickie with you...

a couple weeks ago I was waiting for a friend right on the clock-tower square in yafo, here in Tel Aviv... imagine this very tall clock tower right across the street where I was standing... this guy in jogging clothes passes by and says hi (in Hebrew)... I ignore him... then he turns to me and asks: "What time is it?"

I wanted to crack up and laugh, since all he had to do was turn his head and look at the clock... of course, he didn’t want to know the time... it couldn't have been more obvious than that, could it??? lol

I just answered "I don't know" and pointed at the clock... he looked at it and kept running...

Silly story... but I find it to be so interesting the way people behave... and to be quite honest, I found it to be very funny :P

Ahhhh... The undeniable life...

I know, I know… two posts in one day… What gives? Right? That is what I love about having this blog… There are no rules... :P

It’s no secret to anyone that has ever read this blog that I have experienced and witnessed some weird and/or crazy situations in Israel. I am a firm believer that, that are some things that only happen here… From the fact that you can’t turn left (driving I mean…), there is no u-turn to the simple fact that, by walking around Tel Aviv you can be audience to innumerous kinds of odd people and behavior…

I have come here and shared with you some of my stories regarding that aspect… However, I have to admit I would post so much more little quips if I only remembered or wrote them down when I though of or witnessed them … I promise to try it from now on, for this humble blog’s sake…

I have two little stories to share with you guys today...

After coming back to Tel Aviv from school, I went to the mall to grab a bite to eat before heading home… There I am, enjoying my double Mc Royal (yeah, I know… Shut up… lol) When I noticed that something out of the ordinary was going on… This elderly couple (in their 70’s) was pouring coke from a McDonald’s cup to an empty bottle of water… Next thing I see, the old man goes to the trash can, throws out the cup, comes back with another one and starting pouring the coke from the “new” one in the bottle… Ok, granted that I might be wrong… but, what the hell was that… it continued like that for while, a little later a kid that finished his lunch stops by their table and gives his unfinished cup of coke to the couple and later on the woman comes back from another trash can with more empty bottles… By that moment I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to feel sorry for them or disgusted… I mean, am I crazy or that was simply weird? You guys might say that they were just “hungry” and all… I’m from Brazil… I’m used (unfortunately… honestly you can never get really used to it… which is a good thing) to seeing hungry people look for food in trash cans on the street… but people that are nicely dressed, in a shopping mall? That was a first…

The other story is just another example of thing that you can only go through in Israel…

I was at school, waiting for a group meeting with my TV teacher when my phone rings… on the screen I see that it is an undisclosed number… I pick it up and it is this guy I went out with once, about 4 months ago… The guy disappeared for about 2 months… called me in February saying he saw my number in his phone and didn’t know who it was… after explanations I never heard from him again… who cares?

Well, today the guy calls me… asks how I am and blah blah blah… then he asks:
“do you have cable at home?”
I say: “what?”
Him: “do you have cable tv at home, Hot or Yes?”
I say: “Yeah, I have Hot…”
Him: “Oh, it’s that I’m an agent at Yes and I was wondering if you would be interested in signing up...”

The rest of the conversation really does not matter, it’s enough to say it didn’t last very long after that…

WTF??????? Are you serious??? Seriously? Is the guy actually calling people he dated to sell cable TV?? I swear, after that phone call I was in shock for a while… I even told what had just happened to my teacher (He is very young)… His response was perfect, he said:
“send a message to him NOW, telling him to NEVER call you again”

Hahahahhahahahhahahahahhaha I swear it made me laugh so much…

That is just another tiny bit example of why Israelis are simply Undeniable… :P

Just another Tel Avivian tale...

Inspiration comes from the craziest places I guess... Today (yesterday already :P) I had a very bittersweet day, Vivi left and my life is sadder because of it. I don''t want to dwell on that today, but i have to say that thinking about all we went through these past 9 months and a half, puts an amazing smile on my face, it even makes me laugh out loud at times...

Moving on...

Last night was our last night out, a lot of alchohol involved, drinking from 6pm till 5am... bar/club hoping... It was definatelly a FUN girls night out... cut to today = major HANG OVER...
But, come on... It's friday, and I was not gonna stay home on a friday night :P specially since now Im on my Pessach break from school.... YAY!!! - why do i always get side tracked? lol

Well, sometimes staying home is the best choice, specially on a night like tonight... Hung over (meaning no alcohol was gonna make its way to my digestive system), tired for lack of enough sleep and simply lack of the "let's have fun" attitude (yes, i am human and yes, sometimes im just not in the mood to party... who would have guessed? Right?)... All that resulted in a dragged night a lot of walking and no patience at all for the whole "waiting for the club selector to stop being a douchebag and realize he is NOT the king"drama, and let us in... Which ended up in me and my friend coming back to the club we started the night in...

3am, Im done... Too tired, too cranky, too many jerks around... My friend gets a cab home and I wait for my ride (my sweet and amazing dad). There I m sitting on a window sill when I hear this dialogue (In english):

Guy 1 -"so, what do I do now?"
Guy 2 - "go back and talk to those 2 girls at the end of the bar"
G1 - "ok" - and he leaves
few minutes later...
G1 - "what do I do now?" - Are you kidding me?? People actually do stuff like this? LOL
G2 - "say you are leaving and ask for her number"
G1 - "To which one I ask, th one I loked the most or the one I have been talking more to?"
G2 - "The one you chatted most with"
G1 - "Ok" - and leaves again

Another guy appears and stands right next to me... which leads to this dialogue:

G3 - "I dont know what to do"
G2 - "Start a conversation with some girl, start one up with the one nex to you. Ask her how her night is..." - AKA me!!! lol, seriously,as if they were speaking a secret language or I was deaf... LOL
... G3 turns to me asks:
G3 - "How is you night going?" - Am I being Punk'd? Where is Ashton? Seriously...
Me - "It's over, Im going home" - no, I wasn't rude... I had a smile on my face... :P
... G3 turns to G2 and says:
G3 - "She said her night is over and she is going home" - ROTFL

G2, the dating guru... cof cof, takes over and talks to me... We have a quick but nice chat... He leaves and so do I...

To complete the journey... Im at the sidewalk waiting for my ride and G3 passes by and says: "Need a ride?" and politely say no and he leaves...

I have to addmit, the night WAS so over, but that whole situation totally saved it... :P

A quick update

In the best Murphy fashion, the whole visit from the radio guys never happened... hahahahahahaha

The best thing about that?? The reason...

Apparentely the RamFm radio station does not have the right permits to work (they have been on fr more than an year... unbelievable :P) so 8 of the people that work there were actually arrested the night before the day of the visit, including the guy that was coming... They were released, but put into house arrest...
LOL.... I swear, these things only happen here....:P

'till next time :D

I keep trying to get inspired and write something extremelly insightful here...
I can't seem to get there lately, not for any specific reason, but simply for a draught of inspiration...
Just for the sake of some sort of update, since my last post I have been in contact with my mom and desite all not being all perfect, we are ok...

Moving on...

I am really excited about something that happen a couple weeks ago...

I have been listening a lot to a radio in english here in Israel (Ram FM - 93.6) and a couple weeks ago I called in to participate in a program and ended up winning a sweatshirt...
a couple of days later I called in another program to participate in a discussion, the presenter was so nice... He sked what I studied at school (mainly cause I mentioned that I was on my way to school) and I said:
communication, actually we even have a radio class this semester

after I said that, he (ON THE AIR) offered to come to our school to visit, sit in a class... It was awsome and I am trying to make it happen very soon...

Other than that the only news I got is that I got a new job... I'll tell you guys later...

To be or not to be...

Those of you who know me, know how theatrical I can be...
I am not saying I am a good actress, far from it actually. However, I love acting and I am doing a theater workshop at school. My problem with acting has always been, cracking up mid scene; but, in this course I have been working on concentration and I am starting to get better.

My next story is about my theater class last week.
It is an improv class, meaning we don't work with scripts...
Last class we had an exercise where we were supposed to tell each other our "wants" in turns...
This girl turns to me saying: "I want a married man"
I'm like: "what, a specific one or any married man" - what? It was a legitimate question... lol
she says: "a specific one"

later on we get to an exercise where we had a circle and we had to blame the person on the left for something, pick a fight and the person was supposed to apologize...

The same girl from before is on my left and I get inspired, here's the "fight":
(L = me, R = her)

*I was in an emotional place, and I took advantage of it... lol

L: I thought we were friends...
R: What?
L: I thought we were best friends, and you go and sleep with my husband...
(at this moment she is in SHOCK and starts laughing nervously and I laugh too... I knew it was gonna hit her good... I whisper: Sorry... She says it's ok... so we go on...)
L: How could you do this to me. I trusted you...
R: You said you didn't like him anymore...
L: what? are you kidding me?
R: you said you didn't love him
L: Oh, you are actually going to to take what I said to you, my best friend, after a fight with my husband and use it as an excuse to sleep with him? How dare you?
R: I thought it was ok...
L: Ok, ok? How can you say that? How could you do this? You were my maid of honor, you are the godmother to my child, we have been friends for more than 20 years... And you dare say it was ok...
R: I will never do it again... Give me another chance...
L: You lost your chance when you stole my boyfriend in high school... We were young, I let it go...
R: Please, give me another chance...
L: I can't, I can never trust you again... I am done, our friendship is over... I never want to see you again (I said, Shaking a bit while a actual tear dropped)
I turned and left....

The scene was over... and one of the guys of the class turns and says:
I am never going to pick a giht with you...

lol

the other comment was:

"Are you married?"
me: No
"Not even a little?"

lol

Next class?? Tonight... Yay...

How to properly put your foot in your mouth... In two lessons...

Yeah... For those of you who don't really know me that well. You should know that I am a very sucessful "puter" of foot in my mouth... meaning: I say the wrong thing at the wrong time...

I just realized that the title should have been "In three lessons"... but for now I'll just tell two stories, since the first didn't happen in Israel.

In my second week here I got a job translating websites. Which is great, since I can work from home and make my own time. However, the money was not enough... So, I got a job at a customer service for a carpet cleaning company, that serves NY and the sorrounding areas (aka three computers and a few phone lines at the company's owner house, on Nordau street in Tel Aviv... I know... Fancy right?)

Well... I only stayed at that job for a week. Because after that I had to sign a contract for six months, and I would not be able to handle school and the job at the same time.
The job was not bad... it was quite nice, after I got used to it...

Well, since the company served NY, we had to pretend (by we, I mean me and the canadian/russian girl working with me) we were in NY. No problem being foreign, but we were in NY.

One night, this very nice woman calls... and at some point in the conversation, she asks: "where are you from? I sense an accent"

Well people... that's where all my brain cells decided they needed a vacation... and I started to panic... I forgot that it didnt matter that I was brazillian, as long as I lived in Ny... But noooooooo I had to screw it up... lol
I said: "I'm from Ireland"

HOW STUPID WAS THAT?????

Are you kidding me.... My accent is the furthest away from Irish that it can be...
And as our favorite friend "murphy" (for those of you who don't know him... See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy%27s_law) would say... of course that was the stupidest thing I could say, because the woman turns to me and says:
"I'm from Ireland too, wow... you are not kidding are you?"
- I had to stick to my story
me: "of course not"
her: "Where in Ireland?"
me: "Dublin" (The only place I know)
her: "Me too... wow" (Are you kidding me??????????)
me: "But, I moved here when I was a kid" (Ok, how did THAT help... If that was true, I would NOT have an accent... I can totally picture my brain cells surfing in hawaii at that moment... DAMN!!!!!!)
her: "Oh, me too"

From that moment on, I changed the subject back to carpets...
I barely got out of it.... Damn!!!!!!!
lol

Lesson 2... coming soon

TO BE CONTINUED...

When in Rome... I mean, TV studio class...

Amongst very boring theoretical classes, we have our great TV studio class. In which we learn how to be directors and use all the equipments. During the first weeks we learned about making simple scripted shows. Now we just started working with Talk Shows... and that's where my story comes from...

Ok, last tuesday morning... Class at 8:30... I overslept and got there a little after 9. I get into the studio and the teacher turns to me and says: You, you are going to be one of the guests of the show...
I put my stuff down and sit on a chair under the spotlight...
R. (who asks to remain unamed) was going to be the host and Debrah (from South Africa) was the other guest.

The teacher told us, that we were supposed to talk about our lives, school... stuff like that...
But, come ooooon... it was too early, and we were TOO sleepy... So, we decided to have some fun and be ourselves but with outrageous stories... In one of the me and Debrah were girlfriends, the other she was a transsexual hooker, straight out of sex change surgery and I was her Pimp, while R. was a very prejudiced german guy.
*we changed stories everytime he said CUT... lol

The best story, was when we decided I was going to be a bissexual porn star, Debrah a very religious christian that didn't believe in sex before marriage and R. was veeeery gay...

(before it started, Robert turned to me and said: I am going to ask very specific questions... and I said: go ahead... dont be shy... (He soooooooooo didn't know who he was dealing with... lol)

R: Good Morning. I'm R. and welcome to Random people from the streets...
Today we have two very special guests. Larissa from Brazil. Hi Larissa, how are you?
(He was sooooooo gay... Imagine a very flamboyant gay person with german accent... lol)
L: I'm Good R.
R: And Debrah from South Africa. Hi Debrah.
D: Hi R.
R: So Larissa, Tell us. Why did you come to Israel.
L: Well, I came 5 months ago to study here and live with my dad that made alyiah 2 years ago.
R: Great. So, what do you do here, beside studying?
L: I... hmmm I work.
R: Doing what?
L: Well, My job isn't very mainstream.
R: What is it?
L: Well, I'm a porn star.
R: wow, really? and what kind of movies do you do?
L: Well, I have done a lot of group stuff, but recently I do more S&M and bondage stuff.
(He wasn't expecting that answer... lol so he starts laughing histerically)
R: Really? What do you mean by bondage?
L: You know, like tying the guy up, using whips, high heels on the the guys back... Basically being a dominatrix.
R: So, Debrah. What do you think about this?
D: It's an absurd. You should not have sex before marriage.
L: That's just because you haven't tried it before.
D: Why are you looking at me like that?
L: You are very cute. And would look great in my next movie. You can make a lot of money.
D: Are you Cr... How much money?
L: Oh, a girl like you... hmmmm a lot of money... You should come... I have a shooting next week and...
D: You are crazy...
L: Nah... you would be great..
D: really?
L: Yeah...
D: ok... Ill do it...
(we high 5... and celebrate)
R: That's all for us. See you next time.

I keep wondering how was my teachers face watching this from the control room... lol.

I have to say, i love going out in Tel Aviv. It's an amazing city. So alive, so many things to do.
I am very proud to already have so many friends that I love here, it definately makes all the diference in my life and with them I have been through so much already...

About two or three weeks ago (I swear, my concept of time has changed here... it is crazy) me and Helena (another brazillian here... lol... we are more then you might thought) decided we wanted to go to a gay club... I mean, It is so much fun, even though EITHER of us is gay... We love gay clubs... lol

Well the first time we ended up at a gay party here was by luck and I ended up having to go to the ER (Not the series... lol) I will tell this story some other time for sure...
The second time it was on purpose, we knew exactly when and where to go... So we were psyched for sure. There we went, as happy as we could be... lol We met up a friend of hers, that was so gay, that you probably could tell from space (just like the great wall of China). Nothing really interesting happened at the club... Besides we coming to the, already popular, conclusion that there are so many hot gay men out there that it is definately a waste... lol

So, about 4am we left the club to go home. We had a ride with Helena's friend (the gay guy, remember?). At about 4:30 am we drop her off and I was next. Right after she leaves, the guy starts a very weird conversation, saying that he has never been with a woman, asking if I had ever been with one (no I haven't, btw)...

Out of the sudden he says he needs to pee and stops at a deserted parking lot... I start to get nervous... He stops the car and simply doesn't go out. He starts saying again that he has never been with a woman and ADDS that he wants to experience it WITH ME...

WTF... are you kiddng me????

I say I can't, that I have a boyfriend (cof, cof... lie... cof, cof) that i could never do that to him...
He starts CRYING, saying his father hasn't talked to him in two years, and that if he "tryed" a woman, that he might like it and that his father would be ok...
I tell him he can try with someone else, and he says:
"If it's not with you, it won't be with nobody else..."
I continue to say no, as I was totally freaked out at the moment as you can imagine...
The guy was not the outgoing guy that he was earlier... he was creepy, and all I could think was that i need to go home...

Finally he gives up, I ask him to leave me any where... I get a cab and go home...

what a nightmare...

I don't even trust gay men anymore... lol

The "Muniot"...

I have the best dad ever. He actually drives me to school everyday and picks me up afterwards. Can you believe that? He bought a car here because of me. However like I said in the previous post every story has a begining.

Before the car, I got around almost exclusively by "munit" (Taxi). It was really expensive, but it gave me definatelly great stories to tell.

First of all, let me just say that just by saying you are brazillian here makes people react in a very specific way, which is very interesting and I will definately address it later, on a post.

Like any other country, here in Israel we can find different kinds of drivers. The talkative, the rude, the young, the old, the bad driver, the cute, the flirty/harrassing and so on. But as cab drivers categories go, there are two that are the most analyzed; The talkative and the flirty one. Mainly because they result in the best stories... lol.

I have a few of them...

I am going to summarizing the talkative type in one story, because almost all of them are very similar, which comes to some questions that keep popping in my head, like:

Is 24 years old, too old?
Do I really look like I could be married to my father?
and mostly...
WHYYYYYYYYY?

Ok, a regular cab ride turns to a nightmare when the guy starts asking about me (in hebrew; which, for that level of conversation, I usually can handle).

CB: you live here?
L: Yeah, I made alyiah
CB: congratulations
L: thanks
CB: how long ago?
L: five months
CB: nice. So, you are "ola chadasha"?.
L: yeah
CB: welcome
L: thanks
CB: where do you live?
L: in Te Aviv
CB: Are you married?
L: No (shocked face)
CB: Why not?
L: I don't want to now
CB: why now?
L: I'm young
CB: how old are you?
L: 24
CB: you are too old, you should get married...

and goes with the guy(s) trying to convince me to get married... (it happened more than 10 times people....)

Oh, and if I'm with my dad... they always think he is my husband and dont believe when we say he is my dad.... Damn!!!!!!! lol

The flirty and sometimes harrassing type is more complicated and I want to tell you guys a story...

There I was leaving a club at 4am...
what? it was early... lol I usually leave at 6am...
any who... lol

I went out and got a cab...
again with the talking and all
(this is actually a talkative+flirty/harrassing cab driver story... lol)

when we get to my house the guy turns to me and says something in hebrew that I can't understand... I say: what?
then he turns to me: "give me a kiss?"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????????????

LOL

All I have to say, Baruch Hashem my dad got a car and taxi's are something very esporadic in my life...
