Why do books like Hush Hush, Harry Potter, The Lightening Thief, Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Beautiful Creatures, Shiver, The iron King, Fallen and so many others have such an amazing hold on today’s youth and older readership?
When I was an Young Adult this crazy amount of reading options was far from being available. Personally, it’s not about reading about teens and their adventures, it’s just that these books have gotten so amazing and this genre has so many varied choices that we can’t help but feel the draw.
The fact that these novels have a paranormal element to them, just make them more appealing and damn near irresistible to me.If I haven’t read all the books I listen above, I have at least bought them all and they are waiting to be extremely read LOL.

Wonderful contest!
I love Paranormal YA for a variety of reasons, but mostly because PYA usually has awesome romance. Usually one of the characters doesn't want to give in to their feelings, which makes for great tension!

I love how paranormal YA novels are so different from how world. Heck, they can even take place in our world. I get so hooked on them because I want to be in another world with characters that ring true to life.
