Hey Everyone! Another Friday and I’m back with my Flashback Friday post =)
This time I’m going way back… to my 1st blog post ever!!! It’s so cool to look back on it and see my state of mind and where i was in my life when i started this blog.

Everything has to start somewhere...
Just like any story, my story has a beginning... I was born in a winter day in Brazil, 24 years ago. Honestly whatever came between then and my new life here in Israel is not something i plan to address now. Don't get me wrong, I had amazing parents, and unbelievable stepdad, great friends that I will treasure forever, and I will most definitely post our adventures here in time.
However I decided to join the world of bloggers to share with you and the world wide web my adventures in the new world which I have recently became a part of. Israel, Zionist paradise, what we all Jewish kids heard about in our childhood to be "the Jewish state". Every Jewish person in the world has the right to make alyiah (immigrate). And that is what I have done exactly five months ago. Yes, i decided to celebrate my first five month's anniversary by creating a blog.
Am I exposing my life to people that I don't even know? Maybe, actually... Yes, most definitely. However I find myself in need of an outlet to express my thoughts and tell my stories here in the Holy Land. Unedited and uncut, I hope you are all ready for some true stories and are open-minded enough not to judge. No, don't come here expecting any sordid details. I give myself the right to omit some things, after all, this is NOT a reality show (as if such thing REALLY exists... lol). How Israeli culture differs from the Brazilian one? How Israeli men and women differ from the Brazilian men and women? That and many more questions I plan to address here, and I plan to use my own experiences to show you my findings. ps: I don't propose that all I say here is the absolute TRUTH, it is just like I perceive reality through my experiences. And like Tanya, it prompted me to go to my first post. It's been a little over a year, but so much has changed and evolved over that time. My first post had a description of my novel, but almost nothing in that post is accurate anymore. LOL
