Ok, so after I finished the Magnus Pack series, I decided to check out Shelly’s backlist and lo and behold she has a current series set in the same world! I freaked out, then I relaxed and bought all the books available hehe

I was a bit reluctant about this series, because even though it is set in the same world, the characters I LOVED from The Magnus Pack Series, were nowhere to be seen and I though that the brilliance-lightning couldn’t possibly hit the same place twice. I have never been happier that I was wrong in my whole life!

The Mane Event features two stories and it’s the perfect introduction to this new series. The first story is about Dez and Mace, the second one is about Ronnie and Brendon.

I LOVED this book! Not only is it full of HOT smex left and right, but its sooo freaking funny! Shelly is a genius in writing witty and laugh out loud dialogues. I also loved getting to know these new characters and knowing there in each book of this series we’ll get to see their HEA.

"This conversation" - Dez rapped her knuckles against the Formica table- "is over."
"Be careful, Dez," Jimmy stated earnestly.
"And don't sleep with him the first night," Vinny warned. "We know what a slut you can be."
Dez turned to Sal. "Do you have anything to add to this bullshit?"
"Yeah." Sal looked down from the ceiling he'd been staring at. "Based on the structure of this building, if we removed that pillar back there, we could take out this whole block."
Dez sighed."

I couldn’t recommend this book more! If you are a PNR fan, this is a must read series! I’m serious, go get these right now! I’l wait… *taping nails on the desk* not getting them now? really? ARGH! What is wrong with you?
